2014年2月14-15日の停電の推移

東京電力停電履歴情報を2014年2月14日-15日について県別に停電戸数を集計してみた。100戸未満は100戸として集計したので精度はその程度である。突き抜けている群馬県で、2014年02月15日02:08頃の数分間である。

千葉方面は雪ではなく、風によるものと思われる。また、山梨県の停電戸数は4000だが、2月14日夜の停電以降、動きがなく、24時間以上経過しても回復していない。

比較のために先週（2014年2月8〜9日）の推移を示す。

先週よりも、今週の被害の方が大きい。先週は北茨城市及び日立が送電系の被害により6時間にわたり大規模に停電した。今週は栃木県が同じく送電系の被害により、大規模停電した。

ヴァージニア州下院の反科学州法案HB207が時間切れで廃案

米国の進化論教育及び気象教育を守るNCSEによれば、ヴァージニア州下院の反科学集法案が、州下院教育委員会と州下院司法委員会の間を迷走したあと、時間切れで廃案になった。
Virginia's House Bill 207 died in the House Education Committee on February 11, 2014, when a deadline for bills to pass their house of origin passed. The bill, which would have deprived administrators of the ability to prevent teachers from miseducating students about "scientific controversies," was previously referred by the House Education Committee to the House Committee of Courts on Justice. Unusually, the latter committee refused to accept the
bill, so it returned to the former committee, which failed to consider it again before the passage of the deadline.

ヴァージニア州下院のHB207が、州下院提案法案の委員会通過期限の2014年2月11日に廃案になった。この州法案は、教師が生徒に「科学的論争」について誤った教育を行うのを、学区管理者が阻止することを禁じるもので、州下院教育委員会から州下院司法委員会に送られていた。通常と異なり、州下院司法委員会は州法案の受理を拒否し、州下院教育委員会に差し戻した。そして、委員会通過期限までに再審議されなかった。

2014年2月8-9日の停電と雪の推移

東京電力停電履歴情報を2014年2月8日-9日について県別に停電戸数を集計してみた。100戸未満は100戸として集計したので精度はその程度である。突き抜けている神奈川県の値は、2014年02月8日19:16-19:24の8分間の鎌倉・横須賀方面を中心にした約18万戸の停電を含む、合計約239000戸。

静岡から神奈川及び東京、千葉そして茨城へと停電地域が移動しているのが見える。なお、茨城県の停電が大規模かつ長引いたのは局所的な配電系ではなく、送電系のトラブルによるものと思われる。

関東の降水量の推移をAMEDAS地図表示で見てみると、雪の移動が見える。停電地域はこれを追いかける形になっている。

韓国のラドン濃度は世界2位という報道

昨秋(2013/10)、韓国の住宅のラドン濃度が世界2位という報道が韓国であった。
According to Rep. Jang Ha-na of the main opposition Democratic Party, the average annual concentrations of radon gas was 124.9 becquerels per cubic meter (Bq/m3) in 7,885 randomly selected homes around the country, the second highest after the Czech Republic's 140 Bq/m3.

Under the 2010 World Health Organization (WHO) guidelines for air quality, the Czech Republic topped the list of countries with the highest levels of radon concentrations, followed by Finland (120 Bq/m3), Luxembourg (115 Bq/m3) and Sweden (108 Bq/m3). The comparable figures for other Asian countries were 16 Bq/m3 for Japan and 44 Bq/m3 for China.

The finding is based on a comparison of data compiled by the National Institute of Environmental Research with the levels of 29 countries surveyed under the 2010 WHO air quality guidelines, the lawmaker said.

野党民主党のJang Ha-na議員によれば、韓国全体からランダムに選んだ住宅の年間平均ラドン濃度は124.9Bq/m3であり、チェコ共和国の140Bq/m3に次ぐ、世界2位の高さだった。

2010年のWHOの大気汚染ガイドラインでは、チェコ共和国が屋内ラドン濃度の世界1位で、フィンランド(120Bq/m3)、ルクセンブルク(115Bq/m3)、スウェーデン(108Bq/m3)が続いていた。他のアジア諸国では、日本が16Bq/m3で、中国が44Bq/m3だった。

2010年のWHOの大気汚染ガイドラインに基づく29か国の調査と国立環境研究所のまとめたデータに基づいていると、Jang Ha-na議員は述べている。

子供たちが長時間を過ごす小学校の計測結果の年間平均は98.4Bq/m3だった。

年間21000人がラドン関連肺癌で死亡している米国と同程度の濃度だとしても、韓国では年間4000人程度が死亡している可能性がある。
