Answers in Genesisの創造論者が絶対に使ってはいけない論
「大洪水前の地軸は垂直だった」
この主張に根拠はない。季節変化はノアの洪水前の創世記第1章14節でも触れており、これは最初から地軸の傾きがあったことを強く示唆している。一部の創造論者は、垂直からでないにせよ、地軸の傾きの変化がノアの洪水を起こしたと考えている。しかし、さらに多くの証拠が必要であり、現時点では、この考えは憶測と見なすべきである。さらに、地軸が垂直である場合、極と赤道の気温差は現在よりも、はるかに大きなものになるとコンピュータモデルは示している。従って、現在の23.5°の傾きが理想的である。月は地軸を安定化するという重要な機能を持っており、月が地球に対して相対的にかなりの大きさを持っていることと、月の公転面が地球の公転面と非常に近いことは、デザインされた特徴である。

Answers in Genesisの言っていることは、まあまとも。「デザインされた特徴である」は、木星・土星による原始太陽系の掃除や、月による地球の自転の安定化などを以って、ファインチューニング論を展開するタイプの有神論者たちの平均的な主張。ただし、「デザインされた特徴」だけだと、「まさしく神は現状の太陽系を6000年前に創造した」から「初期値と自然法則をよーく熟慮して、現状の太陽系ができあがるようにした」というフロントローディングまで広く対応している。かなり弱い主張なので、まあ、それはそれで。
それはさておき、ジョークかマジかはわからないが、地軸について、こんな創造論な主張もある：

Well, folks, here we go again.
