インテリジェントデザインは研究したり、論文書いたりするものではない

査読つきの生物系の学術誌にインテリジェントデザイン関連の論文が掲載されたことはほとんどない。掲載された場合でも、まさに"関連"であって、"design"という単語を入れてみたといった程度。

じゃあ、インテリジェントデザイン支持者だけの学会をつくったり、学術誌を発行したりしているかというと、ちょっとだけしている。ただし、既に放置モードで、現在は生きていない。

Dissent From Darwinismで2001年以降に700名の科学者の署名を集めたと自慢するDiscovery Instituteだが、実際は誰も相手にしていないことは明らか。1回でも寄稿してくれれば、合計700本、2001年以降で年間100本近い論文数になるはずなのだが...

生物担当Dr. Michael Beheが2本と、進化論破壊担当Dr. Jonathan Wellsが3本とは、冷たすぎるだろう。また、University of IdahoのScott Minnich準教授はフェローとして助成金を受け取っているはずだが、まったく寄稿していない。

まあ、これはインテリジェントデザインは研究したり、論文を書いたりするネタではないことの証拠かもしれない。
