これに対して、"若い地球の創造論"はどうかというと、あまり違っていない。理科教育への侵入していた1987年までも、宗教であることが司法上確定して理科教育から排除された後も、"若い地球の創造論"は出版業である。学術誌などという儲からないものを、Institute for Creation ReserchやAnswers in Genesisなどの創造論ミニストリが出すことはない。なんと、"若い地球の創造論"ミニストリAnswers in Genesisが、オンラインテクニカル誌Answers Research Journalを発刊した。さすがに紙媒体ではないが。
ただし、定期的に国際的"研究"発表の場は、Creation Science Fellowship Incという会社が設定してきた（第6回からはInstitute for Creation Reserch共催）。4〜5年おきに、これまで5回開催され、6回目は2008年に予定されている。
["若い地球の創造論"も研究しない (2007/12/07)
それらしい位置づけが書かれているが、どうも紙媒体を出さない言い訳のようである：
For many years I have had a vision for an online technical journal publishing the very best creationist research at the highest possible professional level and presentation. Previously the best creationist researchers had to wait for four or five years for the next International Conference on Creationism to submit their papers to a forum and publication in which they could be assured of the highest standards of peer review, presentation, and dissemination. Furthermore, the paper (rather than online) publication of the ICC Proceedings has restricted the dissemination of this top-quality research. Even though the ICC is now moving to concurrent electronic publication, timely dissemination is still restricted and delayed by cost considerations.Dr. Snellingが書いているように、"創造論の研究発表"の場としてInternational Conference on Creationismがあったが、発表数は前回でも43件であり、とても少ない。月あたりにすれば1件でしかない。
長年、私は可能な限り高い専門レベルと可能な限り高い表示で、最良の創造論研究を発表するオンラインテクニカルジャーナルの構想を持っていた。これまで、最良の創造論研究者たちは、論文を最高レベルの査読つきで、最高レベルの発表の場で、最も広く知られるフォーラムや出版物で発表するために、次回のInternational Conference on Creationismまで4〜5年も待たないといけなかった。さらに、オンラインではなくICC Proceedingsの論文出版は、トップクォリティの研究の発表に限られていた。ICCが同時オンライン出版に移行しつつあるとはいえ、タイムリーな発表は限定されていて、コストの考慮による時間の遅れがある。

ということで、第1号の2本のうち1本(地質学)は編集長Dr. Snelling自ら執筆。もう1本は、生物の講義で創造論を教えるLiberty UniversityのProf. Alan L. Gillenによる微生物が創造6日間のいつに創造されたかについての"論文"である。
宗教大学であるLiberty Universityはいまのところ認定大学ではあるのだが、思い切り創造論支持。Answers in Genesisとも近い関係を感じさせるニュースリリースが出ている

このあとどうなるかはわからないが、インテリジェントデザイン運動では同様の試みが2回あって、いずれも数年でフェードアウトしている。
インテリジェントデザイン支持者だけの学会をつくったり、学術誌を発行したりしているかというと、ちょっとだけしている。ただし、既に放置モードで、現在は生きていない。数年は続くのかな？
