ルイジアナ州上院に反進化論州法案登場

National Center for Science Educationによれば、ルイジアナ州上院に反進化論集法案Senate Bill 561が2008年3月21日に登場した。

どの州の反進化論州法案も似たようなものだが、ルイジアナ州は対象が少し広い：

That the teaching of some scientific subjects, such as biological evolution, the chemical origins of life, global warming, and human cloning, can cause controversy, and that some teachers may be unsure of the expectations concerning how they should present information on such subjects.

生物進化・生命の化学起源・地球温暖化・ヒトクローンなどの科学的話題を教えることは論争を引き起こしうる。また、教師のなかには、そのような話題についての情報提示方法について懸念を持つものもいる。

温暖化とクローンを追加して、より福音主義キリスト教な香りを強めている。

これはかなり広めで、現在進撃中のフロリダ州の反進化論州法案[Senate Bill 2692]だと対象は生物進化と化学進化：

Every public school teacher in the state's K-12 school system shall have the affirmative right and freedom to objectively present scientific information relevant to the full range of scientific views regarding biological and chemical evolution in connection with teaching any prescribed curriculum regarding chemical or biological origins.

州のK-1公立学のすべての学校教師は、化学的および生物学的起源に関する規定されたカリキュラムを教えるにあたって生物進化および化学進化についての科学的見方の全範囲に関する科学的情報を客観的に提示する肯定的権利と自由を持つ。
